Seattle-based artist Scott Fife uses cardboard, screws, and glue to create impressively realistic busts, like this awesome depiction of a young Abraham Lincoln. 25 years ago Scott first chose cardboard as his artistic medium for purely economic reasons. He cut, painted, and assembled cardboard boxes that he found in the street. Due to the high acid content of commercial cardboard, which limited the lifespan of his finished pieces, Scott eventually switched to the grey archival cardboard seen in this piece. There is something melancholy and zombie-like about this Lincoln. We love it.

“Head In The Ceiling Fan”
We are excited to formally announce that we have a new record coming out September 18, 2012 named “Floral Green”. The first song we are posting is “Head In The Ceiling Fan” and the video was done by our friend Evan Evans and us on a Hi8 camera. More information will be available in the upcoming weeks.
